Pull your own shots at home with this Smeg 50's Style espresso machine. Beans go straight into the hopper, which holds 250g, and four grinder settings let you fine-tune the grind before you tamp and lock in the 58mm portafilter. Four pre-infusion profiles, from short through to progressive, change how the water soaks the grounds, so you can chase the flavour you like best. The 2.4-litre water tank lifts out for refilling, the drip tray slides away for a quick rinse, and 1650 Watts behind the double Thermoblock heating system means you're not hanging about between a shot and steaming milk. Two spouts let you brew a pair of cups at once.Works with whole coffee beans
