Online Safety & Reporting

This page summarises TimmTomm's approach to the UK Online Safety Act 2023, in force since 17 March 2025. We are a price-comparison search service operated by webpowers UG (Germany) and do not host user-generated content. Our search and content surfaces are curated; risk of illegal content is therefore low — but we still maintain an explicit reporting channel and treat every report seriously.

Report illegal or harmful content

If you believe content shown on TimmTomm (product listings, blog articles, search results) is illegal or harmful under UK law, please email safety@timmtomm.com. Include:

  • The exact URL of the page or product
  • What is wrong with the content (illegal, scam, harmful)
  • Your contact email so we can confirm receipt

Response time

We acknowledge every report within 3 business days and complete the first review within 5 business days. Confirmed illegal content is removed or the underlying merchant offer is delisted from our index.

Ofcom correspondence

The Ofcom liaison contact for TimmTomm is the operator's general counsel via safety@timmtomm.com. Postal correspondence goes to the operator address listed in our Imprint.

UK-GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018

Personal data of UK visitors is processed under the UK-GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in addition to our standard GDPR obligations. UK residents may file complaints with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). See our Privacy Policy for full processing details.

Search & ranking transparency

TimmTomm ranks merchants by price first, freshness and merchant trust score second. Affiliate commission rates do not affect ranking. Sponsored or elevated placements would be labelled “Sponsored”. We currently run no sponsored placements.
