Der Balkenschuh dient sowohl als Auflage für waagerechte Balken als auch als Standfuß für senkrechte Pfosten. Er hält starke Belastungen stand und ersetzten dabei die normalen Zapfen- bzw. Kammerverbindungen. Die statische Traglast wird dadurch voll genutzt. Die Balkenschuhe sind in verschiedenen Größen wählbar.
